The Guide To A Healthy Heart

The Guide To A Healthy Heart

Your heart is the most-important organ in your whole body. Without a healthy heart, you just cannot live a healthy lifestyle. You should spend every single day nourishing your heart and take the time to ensure that it is healthy. Having a healthy heart doesn’t mean that you have to hit the gym every day after work. There are plenty of simple ways that you can ensure your heart is in a good condition. In the modern world, where we all live on fast food and spend our free time watching TV, many of us have weak hearts. You should start taking care of your heart from an early age so that you can ensure you live to a ripe old age. Here is the Latina Geek guide to a healthy heart.

1. Laugh At Anything And Everything   You may not believe me when I tell you this, but it is true. Laughter makes your heart stronger. Why do you think that happy people live so long? When you laugh, you are giving your heart a mini work-out. That means that no matter where you are during the day you can work on keeping your heart healthy. Laugh at everything and anything that you find funny. If you don’t see anything to laugh at then try a fake laugh. When you fake laugh you often end up laughing for real. Laughter will make your heart healthy, and it will also make you feel happier on a day to day basis. So go on, tell us a joke.

2. Cardiovascular Workout (That Isn’t Boring) To make sure that your heart is healthy you will need to take part in regular cardiovascular work-outs. If, like most people, the idea of going to the gym bores you, then you have some other options. Dancing is a great way to give yourself a work-out, whilst having a good time. Why not consider joining a salsa class once a week? Whatever activity you do make sure that it gets your blood pumping. The point is that you need to increase your heart rate so that you make your heart strong and healthy. Your heart is a muscle so the more you use it, the stronger it gets

.   3. Add Good Quality Olive Oil To Your Diet   Eating olive oil helps to lower your chances of developing heart disease. You should make an effort to introduce more olive oil into your day to day diet. Using olive oil can be easy; just substitute your cooking oil for a good quality olive oil. El Olivo is one example of a high-quality oil you might want to use. Eating more olive oil will help to lower your cholesterol and make you live longer.

4. Love Someone (Or Love Everyone)   It may sound a little crazy, but you can die from a broken heart. It’s not just a figure of speech. People who don’t have love in their lives have shorter life spans than people in long-term relationships. Find people who you love and make sure that you hold onto them. Doing so will make you happier in yourself and also make your heart stronger. When we feel affection for another person, our heart becomes stronger and healthier. A healthy heart can only be a good thing, so find someone to love.

5. Cut Out Caffeine And Sugar Caffeine and sugar speed up your heart to an unnatural rate. Drinking lots of coffee can be as bad for your heart as taking drugs. Just because it is acceptable to drink coffee, doesn’t mean that it is good for you. When your heart speeds up due to caffeine, it is unhealthy. The extra strain that this puts on your heart can lead to severe conditions in later life. Cut out the coffee and sugar, and you will notice a difference straight away.
