Ever wonder what tests you should have done at what age and what the optimum levels should be for Blood Pressure, HDL & LDL Levels etc., well here they are:

 

Optimal Numbers

Blood Pressure - 115/75

Waist Size - < half your height

HDL Level - > 45

LDL Level - < 100

TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone) - < 2.5mIU/L

Fasting Blood Sugar - < 95

Vitamin D Blood Level > 50ng/1

 

Tests You Need

Colonoscopy  -  Age 50 and then once every 10 years

PSA Test  -  Men only - Every year (should be < 4ng/ml)

Stress Test  -  After age 50

Bone Density  -  Women only (around menopause and then every 5 years after)

Cervical  -  Women only (every 3 years)

Mammogram  -  Women only (every year after age 50)
